DogWorks Canine Rescue is a non-profit organization servicing the Northern California / Greater San Francisco Bay Area specializing in the placement of
Doberman Pinschers.
The Dobermans rescued come from San Francisco Bay Area and California animal shelters or are given to DogWorks by Doberman owners who can no longer keep them.
Each Doberman is cared for in a foster home until a suitable permanent home can be found. All Dobermans are altered before placement, vaccinated and heartworm tested, and any other medical needs are cared for. Donations are used for this medical care and are always appreciated.
DogWorks currently has very limited foster space available. We may be able to assist you with re-homing your Doberman through our "direct referral program". Your dog must be altered, have current vaccinations and no behavior issues which make him unadoptable. If your Doberman meets our behavior criteria and you have difficulty getting your Doberman medically ready for adoption, we will be happy to discuss options that may be open to you. Please contact us for more information.
If you are wanting to adopt a Doberman, please look at those available with NorCal Doberman Rescue in Red Bluff and Dobie Rescue SOS in Tehachapi listed on www.petfinder.com
DogWorks places Dobermans in the Northern California and San Francisco Bay Area only. For a Doberman rescue group near you, please call your local Humane Society.
